Vijay Eswaran is a successful author and businessman from Malaysia. He was born in October of 1960. He works for the QU Group as the executive chairman and is based out of Hong Kong, China. Mr. Eswaran was educated in London at the School of Economics and earned a degree in 1984 in socio-economics. He remained in Europe for a year and did numerous jobs in the United Kingdom, France and Belgium. Mr. Eswaran ventured into marketing for binary systems while in the United Kingdom and earned a professional certification in CIMA.
Mr. Eswaran obtained his MBA in 1986 from the Southern Illinois University then went into the field of multilevel marketing. His business career began at Synaptics where he held a part time position before going back to Malaysia. Mr. Eswaran eventually joined the Cosway Group where he made the move into the MLA business.
Vijay Eswaran went back to Asia in 1998 and was one of the founders of the QI Group. The QI Group is a multilevel company in the field of e-commerce and has grown substantially over the years. Mr. Eswaran is active in humanitarian services all over the world. He founded the RHYTHM Foundation which is a branch of the QI Group that handles corporate social responsibility. MR. Eswaran also founded the Vijayaratnam Foundation. This charitable
organization was named after his father and initiates programs for the community focusing on individual donations, charity and mentorship.
Forbes Asia magazine named Eswaran as one of philanthropies top 48 heroes in the Asian region in 2011. In 2015 Mr. Eswaran ranked number 25 with Forbes Asia magazine as one of the top fifty richest individuals. Mr. Eswaran was also recognized by The Global Indian Business Meeting for his excellence in philanthropy and business.
